Our Gemini Nd:YAG Laser works on spider and reticular veins by heating the vein walls until they collapse and seal shut. They are then absorbed by the body over a period of months. The laser beam is adjusted to match the diameter of the vein. To help manage comfort and ensure safety, the tip of the laser is chilled to cool the skin. Compression stockings need to be worn for four to five days after legs are treated, and it can take up to twelve weeks for veins to recede and disappear.
